"Our plan is to introduce about 3-4 new models, including a 100 cc bike, in the next three years in the Indian market," company President and CEO Shinji Aoyama told PTI on the sidelines of SIAM Annual Convention here.
The company would be investing Rs 400 crore in the next three years on new models, refurbishing of the existing products and capacity expansion.
"Our current production capacity is nine lakh units per year and we will be increasing it to 12 lakh units by 2010," Aoyama said.
However, he declined to specify how many of the new planned models would be scooter and how many would be motorcycle.
For the current year, the company was targeting a sale of nine lakh units as against seven lakh units last year.
