Is this the new 2009 Bajaj Pulsar 250 for India?

Motorcycle design consultancy Xenophya Design released images of their concept 250cc bike for Indian market at time of launch of their new studio in UK . Interestingly, the list of it’s major clients includes Bajaj Auto.

The much talked about new Pulsar 250cc single could be based upon one of these concepts. Xenophya is an exclusive motorcycle design studio based out of UK with a branch office in Hong Kong catering for their Asian clients. Over years, they have been building extensive relations with Indian motorcycle manufacturers including Bajaj Auto and Royal Enfield for whom they recently developed the Royal Enfield Bullet Classic.
The first and second concept image bear striking resemblance with the Bajaj Pulsar series leading to speculation that the new 250cc Pulsar may be based off one of these designs.

It is my feeling that this cannot be new pulsar from Bajaj. Work Xeno had done with Bajaj would be secrect they would never allow them to promote the same images in their site. This what they tell us in the faster and faster Sameer Kumar blog its reads:
“Mark and Ian have, apparently, built up a significant portfolio of motorcycle design projects over the year, though they can’t talk about much of their work because most of their clients insist on complete confidentiality. ‘Some of our most impressive, innovative work is confidential and not meant for public, much less competitor consumption,’ says Ian. ‘On occasion we have to stay completely anonymous. Some contracts state that we can’t even mention that we worked for the client let alone be allowed to use anything in our portfolio. That’s just the waythe industry works,’ adds Mark”
I have taken a look at the gallery page on their website and picture caption says
“Indian Market Design Study, 250 sports bike for the indian market”
According to me the most likely outcome is that this is some promotional image they have made just to release onto the internet and probably not work for Bajaj.

to me the red color bike looks very much like the pulsar 220.
maybe this is the design style for the new pulsar 200fi. i would very much like it to be that bike.
