Harley Davidson to make XR1200 in a limited run

Harley Davidson XR1200
Harley Davidson plans to make XR1200 in a limited run of 750 unit in homage to XR750, the precursor to the 1200. XR1200 is based off of the 1200cc air-cooled Sportster engine, and has styling and design that is inspired by Harley-Davidson’s dirt-tracking days with the XR750.
For 2009 season, preorders will start on 1st December in USA with prices between US$10799(black) & US$11079(orange). XR1200 was launched in Europe earlier this year and due to increasing demand in US, a limited run will be produced for American customers.
