Yamaha XJ6 similar to the FZ6R being launched in Europe will be launched in the American market shortly.
Expected to compete against the new Suzuki Gladius, Honda CB600 Hornet & Kawasaki ER-6n, the XJ will fill the void in the market under the FZ6.
XJ6 N is basically a XJ6 Diversion with it’s faring removed and replaced with a beacon type headlight we have seen earlier in the FZ6 N & FZ1 N.
The rest is identical to the XJ6 Diversion minus the fairing, a multitube steel chassis, which holds the engine cylinder head and crankcase on his rear,
tilted in rectangular steel tube, conventional forks 41 mm and 130 traverse, two 298 mm front discs with 2 radial pistons and a 245mm rear disc.
The bike will feature a 599cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four cylinder engine pumping out 78 bhp @ 11,500 RPM, producing its peak torque of 60 Nm @ 8,500rpm. The XJ6 weighs around 210 kilos. ABS is available as an option.
