Yamaha Italy launched a commerative edition model of FZ1 in collaboration with Fiat to honor the 100th birth aniversary of Karl Abarth.
Karl Ararth was a famous race car tuner from Italy who got famous building automotive exhaust systems. His company was purchased by Fiat in 1971and is used to build performance parts for Fiat cars.
The limited edition Abarth FZ1features Öhlins suspension, Marchesini wheels, racing slicks, monobloc Brembo brake and Akrapovic exhaust system. “Akra” is Turkish for scorpion, and Abarth used the scorpion (his astrological sign) as his logo. So the choice of Akrapovic is apt for exhaust system on the bike.
