KillaCycle breaks the fastest motorcycle drag record yet again.

KillaCycle being ridden by Scotty Pollacheck broke the world quarter mile drag records yet again with a official record time of 7.89 seconds reaching a top speed of over 270 kmph(178 miles).

The 500hp electric motorcycle has been the fastest electric motorcycle in the world since 1999 breaking world quarter mile records many times. Owner and designer Bill Dube gave credit of the record run to the temperature controlled track at Bandimere Speedway and the M&H Racemaster tires shodded on the bike. KillaCycle team was able to pump over 1850 amps of current through each of the Hi-Torque motors in the bike which were powered by the A123 Systems batteries weighing over 90 kgs.

In conventional terms, acceleration figures for KillaCycle areĀ  0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 0.97 seconds,
